Summer is about to end so here’s one last summer OOTD for Vaseline Summer Skin + Style Lookbook before we bid farewell to the hottest season of the year.

This look is inspired by London Tipton (Brenda Song) of Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody On Deck. A lot of my friends say that I resemble her because of my perky attitude and I look more Thai than Chinese. Believe it or not, I’m still hooked on Disney shows until now. I wish we never have to grow up!!

Nowadays, it’s too warn to have long, wavy locks all the time so I’d rather wear hair extensions than keep my hair really long. It also adds volume to your hair just like mine in this photo. It looks pretty real, right? I got mine at Catwalk Cosmetics.

We also bumped into our good friend, Mike, before we transfered to the other side of the SVIP because it was freaking crowded like a can of anchovies at the left side of the stage.

When we got to the other SVIP area, it was almost time for Afrojack to spin. The crowd in the mosh pit/ VIP area looked like a lot of fun but I didn’t attempt to even go down because of my 5 inch wedges and none of my friends wanted to brave the heat and craziness there. We saw giant pop-up Havaianas and Bobble Bottle waters being thrown around. My friends who came from Coachella said that it had the same vibe as Summer Solstice. Two thumbs up to Closeup!

When I got to the SVIP on the right side, I was ecstatic to find out that the Globe table was right beside my BFF’s!! That’s when things started to get out of hand. (In a good way, of course)

Everyone went wild when Afrojack came out. People started standing on the benches, danced like crazy and some even took off their shirts. I’m not complaining about the latter because most of them had really nice abs. Teehee!

This was one of the most epic parties that we’ve ever had in Manila. I’m sure Dong would agree.

The highlight of my night wasn’t just meeting Steven Silva, Closeup Ambassador and my all-time crush since I first saw him at Rockwell over a year ago. But….

I got to kiss him!!!! Hihihi. After this photo was taken, I didn’t want to wash my lips anymore. Just kidding!!

I left a kiss mark on his cheek too. The next day, I found out that most of my friends couldn’t remove it because I used my Lime Crime super stain lipstick. Whoops!! Sorry, Steven!! :>

Thank you CLOSE UP for bringing all the DJs to Manila and giving us all a very, very memorable and EPIC party. Can’t wait for Closeup Summer Solstice Part 2!!!!!

I was able to attend the 2nd leg of the shopping spree, which was held at Cotton On in Bonifacio High street. We witnessed how the winners enjoyed shopping from the various brands of Suyen Corporation in BHS.

Celebrity couple Victor Basa & Divine Lee were there to shop and celebrate with us, too.

Here are the lucky winners of the anniversary raffle promo. They were able to shop at Bench, Human, Cotton On, Aldo, Charles & Keith, Celio, La Senza, The Face Shop, F&X, Patchi, CPS, Call It Spring, Pedro, CC-OO & the newest addition to Supen Corp.’s brand stores, American Eagle.

While waiting for them to come back, I got the chance to take a photo with the host, Kelly Misa. She’s really nice and humble. I always see her around and she’s always in simple clothes but her beautiful features make it hard not to stare at her. I love her!

I rarely make a dorky face whenever I’m being photographed but I couldn’t help but be a big dorky fan when I came across Anton Diaz of ourawesomeplanet. He’s one of the first bloggers that I’ve been following back when I was still a college student. He’s really nice and down to earth. It’s my first time to meet him but he constantly entertains my inquiries and even gives me personal restaurant tips whenever I send him a message on Facebook. Really stoked that he’s part of this year’s Tatt Council!

Joining Ronquillo in this year’s Tatt Council are author of the country’s leading tech blog Yugatech.com, Abe Olandres; Renowned for his gastronomic adventures, Our Awesome Planet’s Anton Diaz; one of the country’s leading advocates of Original Pilipino Music Jim Paredes; Top international model and personality Joey Mead-King; In demand talented photographer BJ Pascual; YouTube sensation and former Tatt Awards winner comedian Mikey Bustos; Multi-faceted tv personality Bianca Gonzalez; and Seasoned sports analyst TJ Manotoc.

The Tatt Council will spearhead the screening of nominations and shortlisting of finalists following specific criteria for judging making up 70% of the total score. The Tatt Council’s 70% is made up of Content Quality (40%); Social Media Impact (20%); and Relevance of content to the specific category (10%). The remaining 30% of the total score on the hand consists of: Social Media Engagement and influence based on fans, followers, subscribers, etc. (20%) and lastly Public Voting (10%).

Anyone with a Facebook, Twitter and/or Google account can nominate in three easy steps: log on to www.TattAwards.com, fill out the nomination form and tell us a little something about the nominee and why you think they should win. You can nominate as many people of your choosing and personally pick which category best suit your nominee; you can even create your own category.

The user-generated category with the most relevant unique nominees will be included in the official list of categories at this year’s Tatt Awards. After last year’s success of receiving more than double unique nominations from 2011, Tattoo is set to raise the bar and receive more unique nominations this year.

Ever New, the fast-growing women’s fashion brand founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2006, opens its 3rd boutique in the Philippines at 2F The Podium Mall in Ortigas Center. I’m so happy because it’s so close to home. I make it a point to visit the BHS branch every time I go to The Fort. Now I can drop by Ever New anytime because it’s just a few minutes away from my house!

I feel like this brand was really made for girls like me who like dainty clothes, pastel colors, “frou-frou” bags and my trademark “madamme” classy flowy chiffon tops and dresses. Teehee.

Currently, the boutique features EVER NEW’s Spring Summer 2013 collection such as digital printed dresses, sequined sea foam skirts, pearl necklaces and glittery sandals from the Atlantis Collection & flow floral-print dresses, bright fuschia tops, neon accessories and pretty wedges from the Tropical Paradise collection.

I always have a gown customized whenever I have big events to attend, like weddings. But ever since EVER NEW opened in Manila, I just go there and buy a ready-made one because they’re waaay cheaper than having one tailor made. I’m eyeing this coral red gown above for my next big occasion.

Aside from having eye-catching, fabulous dresses, Ever New has really cute sandal and shoe designs. I haven’t bought one yet so I can’t tell if they’re comfortable or not. I’m hoping the cute pink platforms that I want will go on sale this May. :>

I’ll be honest, I own a ton of Ever New stuff but most of them are not clothes. They’re actually bags and accessories. I adore ALL of their chunky necklaces and clutch bags. They’re really, really affordable.

I got this cute laser-cut leather clutch with crystal lock for around P1,600 only. It can fit my big LX5 digicam; I’m so frustrated because I rarely find bags that can carry it because it’s so bulky. Yey for Ever New clutches!

Me with the new Brand Manager of Ever New, Glen. :) He chose two dresses for me that really fit my style. It was so funny because I posted a poll on both Instagram and my Facebook account to help me decide which one to get and they had a completely opposite result.

Everyone on Instagram opted for the left digital-printed dress because it was a party dress, which is more “ME”. While everyone on Facebook chose the Lanvin-inspired dress on the right side. The people at Ever New had to be the tie-breaker so they asked me to get the white one so it won’t be the same as my usual style.

Some of my beauty blogger friends and I were chosen to have a shoot with Vaseline at Edsa Shangri-la hotel. I’m really happy that I got this opportunity because it’s a great way to document my progress with BEYOND YOGA.

I don’t own a lot of neon/ bright-colored clothes but I got this dress from Ever New because it’s perfect for the summer. The vibrant colors and tropical prints on this dress will really make you stand out during an event. This is definitely my favorite out of the 4 layouts that we shot for this campaign.

Sleeveless tops are a must at this time of the year because it’s soooooo hot here in Manila! But don’t go out without protecting your skin first. You might not know it, but accumulated sun exposure can cause sun spots as you grow older. They look like freckles and you can never rid of them once they’re there. (The horror!)

That’s why I never leave the house without applying Vaseline Healthy White SPF24 Lotion. I used to hate applying lotion because of our humid weather but Vaseline came up with a formula that’s non-sticky or greasy. It smells really great, too! SPF24 is enough to protect your skin on a daily basis. A higher SPF is only needed when you’re going to the beach. Just don’t forget to re-apply throughout the day when you frequently walk under the sun.

What happens when two events are held in the same time and place?

1. My feet get murdered by my 5-inch heels.
2. I have to be wonder woman and travel from one place to the other in the speed of light.
3. I’d have to choose just one event. (which isn’t an option for me, most of the time.)

But, during the Mango fashion show, everyone was, as always, fashionably late. So I was only able to meet up with some friends and quickly hopped to the beauty blogger get-together at Sutra. I got to take a peek at their latest collection from the 2nd floor of BHS Central but it was too far to take photos from there. :(

My super faboosh dress is from EVER NEW, by the way. Everyone I bumped into complimented it because the lace/ cloth is really different from the usual patterns we see in retail stores.

There’s a new laser & waxing studio in town!! And it’s located in my favorite hangout area, Bonifacio High Street Central. (Same floor and building as BEYOND YOGA)

The first thing that I noticed, of course, was the ultra-cute and modern interior. The asterisks (*) on the ceiling are so unique. Now I can’t decide if Wink or Strip has the best interior for a waxing salon! :p

It was closing time when I arrived so I wasn’t able to take a lot of photos. There isn’t much to take too, since they kept their counters really simple and clean.

They use high-end products like Berodin and Messy Bessy. I have yet to try this brand but I heard it’s really good!

Prior to waxing, they will ask you a series of questions regarding your skin like skin type/ condition, medication, allergies, etc. I think that this is the correct procedure when it comes to waxing; unlike my old waxing salon that didn’t even bother to ask a single question so my skin got damaged by their cold sugar wax and careless technicians. (hint na yan!)

At Wink, they have 2 types of wax. The yellow one is WARM wax, which is for the arms and legs while the green COLD wax is for sensitive areas like the face and bikini area. I’ve only tried their underarm wax since they were about to close when I got there. I will definitely be back to try out their other services!

Before I forget, they also sell SNOE products and SOAK swimwear at Wink. They have the complete summer package there!
